Don Daub, MBA, Electrical Engineer, and Business Therapist

Don Daub is a highly successful certified safety, business, technology, and customer service trainer and business consultant, who owns an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville, and undergraduate degrees from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering Technology, Supervision, and Human Resources.
Don earned the esteemed CESCP (Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional) from the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and has created and presented custom seminars and state-certified training programs for contractors and business professionals since 1996.
Don and his training agency are certified through the states of Kentucky and Ohio, and Vanderburgh County, Indiana, providing Continuing Education for Master Electricians, Electrical Inspectors, Electrical Contractors, Master & Journeyman HVAC Technicians and Mechanics, Master & Journeyman Plumbers, Refrigeration, Hydronics, Contractors, Subcontractors, and other Tradesmen. Don has extensive experience in the construction industry, and he has created more than 400 classes.
Don is a member of the “American Society of Safety Professionals” + “National Safety Council” + “National Association of Home Builders” + “Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers” + “National Fire Protection Association” + “Green River Building Industry Association of Owensboro.”
Don teaches a variety of topics, including but not limited to: “Ladder Safety,” “Fall protection,” “Scissor Lift Safety,” “OSHA Inspections & Citations,” “PPE,” “Job Hazard Analysis,” “Emerging Technologies,” “Teambuilding,” “Motivational Leadership,” “Time Management” and “Construction Industry Ethics.”
Don creates and teaches custom Arc Flash/Arc Blast classes, to major manufacturers and Contractors.
He’s an experienced adjunct professor of Semiconductors and Electrical Mechanical Devices in the HVAC-R and Mechanical Engineering programs at Sullivan College of Technology & Design. Don created and taught the Human Resources Technology course at Bellarmine University, and Microeconomics, Group Dynamics, Microsoft Office, and Strategies for the Technical Professional at ITT Tech.
Don creates custom Safety Manuals and Employee Handbooks for organizations and assists in preparing companies for OSHA Inspections. In addition, he provides cogent response letters to OSHA “Citation and Notification of Penalty” letters and safety violation notices from insurance carriers.
Don has expertise in Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Ultrasound, MRI, and X-Ray equipment installation, calibration and repair, and IBM-compatible computer mainframe subsystems.
Don was the KEYNOTE SPEAKER at Brown Mackie College’s Graduating Class Ceremony at the Louisville International Convention Center, where 2,300 people were in attendance.
Previously, Don was an Electrical Engineer, the Vice President and Managing Partner of successful Internet companies, and the Director of Business Procurement for software development companies. He is the Founder and Principal of Xpertise LLC, and an “Xpert” at training and managing customer and employee relations. Don provides consulting services that propel businesses to their next level of success.
